Audit Remote Control
Sessions
 |
Remote control of servers and workstations
is becoming increasingly attractive to users. Organizations
today do not relay solely upon internal staff, vendors require
remote accesses privilege to the organization servers in order
to fulfill their expectations.
Compliance departments require total visibility and audit of
third-party and internal access to the organization servers
and computers |
One of the most challenging regulatory requirements
is to record, index and archive how people generate, manipulate,
access or even compile data. When companies enable vendors to access
organization servers with the use of terminal services or any other
remote control software, can they insure that the vendor did not
violate companies' customers privacy or effect financial systems?
Monitors the user's screen activity
ObserveIT's strong advantage is being able to monitor and audit
all activities on a user's screen - regardless of application, file
or protocol. This is possible because ObserveIT's patent pending
technology operates at the GUI level - capturing and indexing all
actions that a user has taken on the screen with a corresponding
video session. These videos, together with additional metadata,
are stored and indexed in a central database that is easily accessed
for a complete view of all human activity.
Policy driven recording and alerting
ObserveIT is pre-configured for fast implementation but is also
highly configurable. Using the Event-Driven Recording feature, ObserveIT
can be configured to record only collaboration sessions and automatically
send alerts if there has been any misuse of confidential data during
such a session. In addition, ObserveIT can also be configured to
record selective files or applications. Whether it is a proprietary
patient record, a financial spreadsheet or an enterprise application
such as CRM or ERP, ObserveIT provides an easily accessed visual
audit trail.
